I’ve always been a fan of title sequences because of the mood and story they tell in such a short period of time. After reading CHAOS: Charles Manson, the CIA, and the Secret History of the Sixties, I was inspired to make a title sequence for a fictional TV series. 

Chaos is a book that covers many aspects of the Charles Manson case and a big theme is law enforcement and the news media. I decided to use hand drawing to convey police paper work, evidence of a crime scene and textured paper to connect with the newspaper media aspect. I felt this brought the audience into the world of investigation and news reporting of the crimes.
